2006 Richard Partridge Cabernet Sauvignon

$ 0.00

Winemaking:

The 2006 growing season was long and cool, which allowed for a long grape ripening period that fostered mature flavors and balanced tannins.  Wine was aged in 100% French oak (70% new) for 22 months.

The Vineyards:

Grapes were sourced from Stanton (55%/Oakville), Garvey (30%/St. Helena), and Hossfeld (15%/Napa)

Tasting Notes:

Classic aromas and flavors of dark cherry, cassis and blackberry.  The structure of the wine is solid and extracted, but the tannins finish sweet and silky.  The wine is very well balanced, full of ripe, extracted fruit, and finishes with a long elegant texture.
