Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

Hailing from our St. Helena estate vineyards, our Cabernet Sauvignon consistently shows beautifully upon release. Early tasting exhibits deep, extracted berry flavors, spice notes, and young, chewy tannins. As this wine ages, these characteristics mellow, showcasing complexity and harmony between layers of elegant fruit, espresso, and balanced tannins. About 10 years after its harvest year, earthier tones and herbal notes develop, while boasting subtle fruit and a sophisticated finish (well worth the wait).

Chardonnay

With limited production each year, our Chardonnay is a true Napa gem. This crisp, sexy wine does not undergo malolactic fermentation in order to preserve the bright citrus characteristics typical of Chardonnay grapes from the cooler Carneros Appelation. We age this wine in 100% French oak barrels for about 8 months each year, adding creamy plantain and oak notes that balance out our Chardonnay's vibrant acidity.

Our Approach to Winemaking

Partridge Cellars was born from a shared vision between Richard and Cris Partridge to make small amounts of the finest wine possible. With a focus on small production, single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay, we have the distinct ability to pay careful attention to each step of the winemaking process. Steering away from many mass production winemaking techniques, we choose, instead, to elevate the distinctive qualities of each vineyard, providing you with wines that reflect the unique qualities of our vineyards and gorgeous viticultural growing region, Napa Valley.
