2013 Richard Partridge Cabernet Sauvignon

$ 86.00

WINEMAKING NOTES: Even at harvest we knew this vintage held exceptional promise. Cool, sunny weather into fall allowed grapes to linger longer on the vine, developing deeper flavors and ideal ripeness. We aged this wine for 29 months in a combination of new and 2 year-old French oak barrels.

TASTING NOTES:

Both muscular and graceful, this Cabernet Sauvignon offers classic aromas of blackberry, fig, and espresso. On the palate, the structure of this wine is rich and fruit forward, with layers of loganberry, cherry, and red currant. Powerful, ripe tannins and hints of sweet oak add to the age worthiness of this wine.

PAIR WITH:  Grilled, roasted, or braised red meats with full flavor preparation. Great sauce pairings include meat stock, mustard, and pepper.
