2011 Richard Partridge Cabernet Sauvignon

$ 0.00

WINEMAKING NOTES:  We have eagerly awaited the release of our 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon since harvest.

Despite a tough 2011 growing season, the work of Jeff Fontanella during the winemaking process resulted in a Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon that is bright, juicy, and has a balanced acidity that really proves the importance of every step of the winemaking process, from farm to bottle.

Our 2011 Richard Partridge Cabernet Sauvignon is one that should be carefully contemplated and appreciated, as the true story of this wine is in the bottle.

TASTING NOTES:

Classic aromas and flavors of dark cherry, cassis and blackberry.  The structure of the wine is solid and extracted, but the tannins finish sweet and silky.  The wine is very well balanced, full of ripe, extracted fruit, and finishes with a long elegant texture.

PAIR WITH:  The bright, ripe acidity of this wine calls for meats like lamb and duck, aged creamy cheeses like Gouda, and dark, rich chocolates.
