2016 Richard Partridge Cabernet Sauvignon

$ 86.00

WINEMAKING NOTES

Hailing from our St. Helena estate vineyards, our 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits remarkable aromatics and nuanced layers. An unusual weather pattern marked by periods of hot days followed by runs of cooler days meant that the fruit ripened in waves. Grape quality was apparent from harvest, and we only wish we had more!  The wines have continued to put on weight during the aging process, and 2016 has the potential to be one of the best vintages Napa Valley has seen in years.

TASTING NOTES:

The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits aromas of deep red Cherry, floral notes, dried cranberries, and cocoa powder. Age has encouraged a complex palate, with flavors of sweet plum and red currant. Powerful, ripe tannins and hints of sweet oak add to the grace and approachability of this wine.

PAIR WITH:  Grilled, roasted, or braised red meats with full flavor preparation. Great sauce pairings include meat stock, mustard, and pepper.
